Like the game, coaching 3on3 hockey is meant to be fun and coaching responsibilities are minimal but critical to the enjoyment of the game for the players.

  1. 3on3 Hockey requires responsible adults who feel comfortable managing the players before the game to ensure they are ready to play.
  2. Adults who will manage the players during the game making every attempt to give each player equal ice-time. Calming the bench if players start to get passionate about the game that might result in on-ice penalties.
  3. It is recommended that each team will have one head coach and one assistant coach, so if one or the other is missing the other picks up the game.
  4. Other parent volunteers are recommended to act as Team Manager and can handle communications with the parents and the league.

The league will canvas all parents as their child registers to see if we can fill the two coaching and one manager role; however, we encourage the Head Coach to communicate with parents as well to fill these roles.
